DESCRIPTION:

The Gourmet Kitchen is 15 1/3 x 18 feet overall. The main part of the kitchen is 15 1/3 x 12 2/3 feet. There is also a pantry with floor-to-ceiling built-ins with roll-out shelves. This kitchen is designed for entertaining. Across one whole wall is a Sub-Zero refrigerator and matching freezer. These commercial-quality units allow food to keep much longer than in any household refrigerator or freezer. The stove is a Garland restaurant gas stove, with six burners, a griddle, a grill, a Char-Glo barbecue and rotisserie unit, and two oversize ovens. (See Kitchen Picture Page #3.) Cooking on this beautiful stove is a real pleasure. There is also a built-in Maytag dishwasher, a built-in Panasonic microwave, and a disposal and a trash compactor. In the middle of the kitchen is a 27" x 52" island with a solid wood butcher-block top, knife drawers, and plenty of storage. Built into the island is a pop-up kitchen center with mixer and juicer attachments stored below. Between the kitchen and dining room is a peninsula with lots of storage below and double-sided glass-door cupboards above. (See Kitchen/Dining Rm Picture Page #5.) Off the kitchen is the Powder Room. And past the pantry is the Laundry Room and Utility Room. Along the East wall of the kitchen are double sliding-glass doors leading to the Beachside Patio. There is an outstanding ocean view from anywhere in the kitchen. This house has the best ground floor ocean views you'll find anywhere, and the kitchen benefits wonderfully.
