DINING ROOM

DESCRIPTION:

The 16'x12' Dining Room adjoins the Kitchen and has a magnificent ocean view. From the dining table you can watch ships, whales, and dolphins go by or watch a flock of pelicans diving into a school of mullet. The deep red tile floor complements the mahogany cabinetry. The arched passageway by which you enter the Dining Room from the Grand Entry Hall is repeated in the large arched window on the South wall. Double glass sliding doors open to the Beachside Patio. Double-sided ceiling cupboards above a long peninsula counter and breakfast bar separate the Dining Room from the Kitchen. The walkway around the end of the peninsula is wide enough for two-way traffic. Food and dishes can be passed back and forth between Dining Room and Kitchen over the peninsula or it can be used as a buffet. The room will easily handle a sit-down dinner for twelve. Buffets for 40 are a snap. More can be accommodated if the patio is used.
