BEACHSIDE PATIO

DESCRIPTION:

The beachside patio is concrete, 34 x 35 feet (1200 sq ft), of which 225 sq ft is covered. The balcony over the covered portion provides protection from rain, so that the patio can be used even in inclement weather. The covered portion has a new roof and a cedar ceiling. There are overhead light fixtures and electrical outlets. This portion could easily be enclosed to provide additional indoor living area, should that be desired. The beachside patio has considerable privacy. The house wraps around two sides of it, and there is a privacy wall on the third side. The fourth side opens to the beach. The patio is accessed by sliding glass doors from the dining room, the kitchen, and the guest suite. There is a wooden gate leading to the sidewalk in front of the house, and a private walk and stairs to the beach. Lights along the privacy wall can light up the whole patio.
